I’ve seen a bunch of reddit refugees like me comment here in the fediverse that the have deleted their posts and comments on reddit.
Rather than do that, I propose all rexxitors instead edit all of their posts and comments to say that they are leaving reddit for good to go to the fediverse instead. Such edits should provide links to major Fediverse sites and getting started guides, with advice for other redditors to abandon that place and join us here.
I guess Reddit has already shown hostility towards fediverse in the past. If enough people do it then it just might be that they would not get all at same time and others on Reddit might be able to see and decide on their own what they would like to do.

It’s a win win. Either they don’t go that, and lots of posts and comments say, “come join us here in the fediverse!”, or they delete the posts and comments which still deprives reddit of our content for them use to make money.
