This is a project aimed at documenting as many pieces of hardware as possible, built entirely by volunteers, who code for the site/add new entries in their free time. We also have a GitLab repository, where you can see the code behind TRW.
I’m a little puzzled by the name, since it seems to be more about vintage computer hardware than the web. Or I guess maybe it’s like a mini-web about retro things? Idk
Old school websites were often called “webs”. Its synonymous with “site”. So it just means “retro [stuff] site”
Maybe because it is about the retro web era. Or Web 1.0 and the hardware that existed during that time. I don’t know just speculation.
