Seems I need to read up more on the specifics of MMT. It feels like you keep contradicting yourself between your posts, but maybe I’m just missing something?
Is that right? I thought the general notion is that demand outpacing supply causes inflation. Doesnt printing money inherently increase demand? That’s why the Fed raised interest rates to fight inflation in the US, it slows money down by making things more expensive (in simplistic terms).
Every senate/house seat the Democrata win makes it all the harder for Republicans to pass any significant legislation.
Just look at what happened with both Trump and Biden. Slim majorities in both house and senate led to a lot of legislation getting killed. Just recall how long it took the house to pick a speaker, while Republicans may have a majority it doesn’t mean they can weild it.
Maybe I’m not aware of similar configurations you can do, but it’s only sorta it’s own container. VSCode can actually directly connect to it automatically so you can develop in host os but run directly against the container. Additionally this means some visualization/gui interfaces can be visible on the host side (this is a gift and a curse).
So you basically have system integrated containers/vms. It’s not perfect, but it is definitely leagues better than what windows development was prior and may have some advantages over Linux only deployments (not sure if the system integrations are feasible in Linux hosts).
I’m surprised this wasn’t mentioned more. Unlike a lot of the other games, the world feels a bit more centered around magic. Also if you’re a fan of Harry potter it does a good job of capturing that setting (in my opinion).
I’ve been saying this since it released. Cool mechanics, but boring world and gameplay. I’m still a bit salty about the loss of real dungeons, nothing in BOTW or TOTK feel as memorable as the previous games.
Maybe they changed things up in later seasons? I don’t recall the first season really getting into anything like that (and I think I only made it 1-2 seasons in).
This was my issue with comedians in cars getting coffee. Felt like being talked down to by rich spoiled celebrities.
With jupyter notebooks in a devops perspective you could just build a process to export the notebooks to standard py files and then run them.
There are actually a lot of git hooks that will actually expoet/convert .ipynb to .py files automatically since notebooks don’t work great with git.
Is it not the thing being fed to Gimli(?) in the bottom right image?
Another thing I haven’t seen mentioned is its one of the last places open late anymore. I live close to a city, but if I need to grab something late (9:30+) fast food is about the only place open.
Yeah, not sure I would listen to this guy. Setting up a venv for each project is about a bare minimum for all the teams I’ve worked on.
That being said python env can be GBs in size (especially when doing data science).
You may have used women in the prompt, but what it created definitely looks like a little girl.
Yep, don’t be afraid to ask for help. The people at polling places are usually very nice and helpful!
It is, and it’s stupid. The only real thing they changed this time around is “supine” aiming so you can look 360° while lying down. Overall it’s lower down in the recent cod releases for me. Wouldn’t be bothering with it if it wasn’t free on gamepass.
Treyarch just isn’t as good a developer as the others. The black ops games always seem to lack polish. I’d probably not bother if it wasn’t for free on gamepass, but I’ve been debating dropping gamepass and wouldn’t buy it outright.
Yeah, I only bring it up because Harris’ primary goal is to win the election. It sucks, but Israel is only one element of this election and the public isn’t in agreement with it. Harris could even want to be more aggressive on it, but can’t sacrifice the election.
At the end of the day, there are two candidates. In a fptp system, you’ve got to vote for the better of the two candidates. Not voting for Harris is enabling Trump and will only lead to a worse situation in Israel.
Why do you think she’d gain more voters than loose by changing her stance on Israel? There are clearly people out there who support Israel otherwise it wouldn’t even be up for debate. I haven’t seen anything indicating she’d pick up more voters by changing her stance (which is still better than Trumps).
It was definitely part of the appeal. I got into arguments with people that Netflix would eventually succumb to ads. I’ve also been warning people about not owning digital content from back when all iTunes purchases came with DRM (or maybe they still do, does iTunes still exist?).
