    Xbox Series isn’t that popular over here anyway. Especially diskless Series S was never sold out when there was that global supply shortage (maybe at individual retailers but never in a broader way). In fact, I distinctly remember that for Christmas in launch year it was even on sale for 20 Euro off at many retailers.

      so true, even in the US markets we never ran out of S’s, Resellers would come in and explicitly state “do you have anything but the S” because everything else was super looked for but it seemed you couldn’t give those S’s away lol

        I mean it makes sense. The S was marketed as a budget console, so all the people looking for the actual current Gen platform just lurked around until an X popped up for sale. And beyond that, the S didn’t get hit by the chip shortage nearly as hard since it’s lower end hardware.
