People don’t realize that the US used to see fascism as a sort of white utopia. It was really popular up until WW2 when they hard turned on it. Kind of like what happened with communism leading up to the cold war, actually. It was seen fondly until they went to war with the USSR. Just goes to show that american culture is solely determined by whatever country they decide to go to war against.
