This seems to be Varjo’s response to the Apple Vision Pro. Its significantly cheaper than the last headset, the Varjo XR-3, going from $5,495 to $3990 and also removing the $1000 yearly subscription. Here’s a reminder that Apple initially developed much of their software for the Apple Vision Pro using Varjo’s XR-3’s and the Apple Vision Pro was going to undercut the XR-3 at a price of $3,500.

It’s also exciting that the new XR-4 is going to be allowed for individuals to purchase, instead of just locked to companies.

    They kinda have to make some bold claims to stay relevant as Apple Vision might bankrupt them into oblivion when it releases.

      Sure, but hype will evaporate into a cloud of hate if claims like these don’t hold up. Especially when you’re the underdog and “unknown” relative to Apple. We’ve seen this with Magic Leap for instance. Or with No Man’s Sky to take an example from Gaming.
