I agree. Plus it will make them even more expensive if they’re full of star studded casts like all animation movies nowadays. Just let normal voice actors act.

It used to be the fastest, but nowadays I find its performance doesn’t surpass Firefox and Edge that much. Actually, I haven’t used Chrome much at all recently, so maybe it doesn’t at all nowadays. I definitely haven’t noticed it’s absence now that I’ve been slowly returning to Firefox thanks to Google and Microsoft’s constant privacy snafoos.
Does Troy Baker suck? I know he voices he a ton of characters but I’ve never heard of anything about him personally.
And ya, this is a great step forward. Like movies and tv, the video game industry is rife with the money taking advantage of people. Maybe even more, because there’s less union backing in video games.
What an interesting idea for a community.
What’s the Kbin link to get to it again?
Christopher Nolan has done some good big movies not based on existing book or IP: Memento, Inception, Interstellar, and Tenet.
This seems more like a TIL post than a YSK one
We’re kind of starting to get that, we just need to encourage people to spread out from lemmy.world and make communities in these other instances. We’ve got lemmy.film that’s TV and film focused, pathfinder.social and another ttrpg instance, star trek has an instance, the solar punk instance, there’s a couple tech, privacy, and hacker instances. I’d also like to see more local area communities in instances like midwest.social instead of all on lemmy.world, too.
Jerboa and wefwef are both pretty RIF-like. Jerboa can be buggy sometimes and wefwef is a web app rather than a native app, though. I’ve also been trying out Connect for Lemmy and Liftoff.
I haven’t found an app that let’s me add new communities that haven’t been added to your instance yet, though. For that, I still have to use the web browser.
Should we just start reposting stuff from Reddit, too? Or is that frowned upon?

There’s got to be a way to remove Hamas without killing everyone in Gaza. I hope the international community can come together to find a way. I definitely wouldn’t leave it to Israel lol.
It probably involves with allying with the PLO or some more secular faction of Palestinians, and Egypt. But they’d need to give something to them or else no one has a reason to support them unless they have some victories they can point to.
