Charcoal, yeah. Thank you! :)
Loving all the little details you put in, wonderful work!
Thank you! Glad to hear that I’ve been able to sneak some otherwordly vibes in there as well!
Thank you! :) Getting more practice in has done wonders to the way I approach things.
Nice work, great to see you experimenting with different styles!
Glad you noticed, I was going for a grave/door ambiguity while invoking the classic light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel motif.
Cute piece, I like it!
Thank you!
Simple, but effective! Love it!
I guess it’s close to impossible to find medieval armor reference that hasn’t already made it into a dark souls game :D
Oh wow, that piece is absolutely gorgeous! The lighting, the colors, the concept… *chef’s kiss
Thanks! It’s a photograph of a physical piece. (charcoal on paper)
Thank you! :) I tried taking a different approach to change things up a little.
I mean worse decision have been made I guess
Thanks! That one’s digital, made in Rebelle 7, mostly using the soft acrylic/oil brushes.
Why, thank you kindly for your positive appraisal!
Love this, getting Yellow Submarine / Terry Gilliam vibes from it!
The charcoal sticks I’m mainly using are part of Cretacolor’s Art Chunky line; so big chunky sticks, but broken in half for easier handling :) Kneaded eraser for details and cleanup. For smudging and blending I usually use my fingers, sometimes blending stumps or paper towels, depending on what effect I want to achieve.
