I’ve had wallpapers of the latest McLaren F1 cars for the last few years. In my case this is from the official McLaren website but sometimes the official ones are a bit pants.

On the plus side it now looks less like a dog’s… Erm… Lipstick.
I remember some pretty good four player mini-games including one in planes where you stole eggs from the centre of the arena and took them back to your nest. The player with the most eggs in their nest won. You could also steal eggs from other player’s nests which always led to some great trash talk.
Actually, I think the mini-games on DKR meant my friend group probably played it more than Mario Kart.
As a Brit who misses the EU a lot they always did a lot right but are underappreciated by the people living in it.
I’ve never been a Linux guy but recently I’ve switched to Pop!OS on my laptop and bought a Steam Deck. Other than a few teething issues with the laptop I’ve had a great experience and I wouldn’t consider myself ridiculously tech savvy. I’d absolutely consider switching my gaming PC over but my worry is loss of performance and being unable to use my game pass games. I’d be super happy if I could switch my PC over in the next couple of years.
The Wedding at Cana by Paolo Veronese is hung opposite the Mona Lisa and honestly was far more worth seeing as far as I’m concerned. It was also mostly ignored by people desperate to get their selfie with a postage stamp-sized painting for their social media.
I was at a random hotel in London for work and was wearing a pretty nice suit. There was a mirrored column near the door and nobody about so I was adjusting my jacket since I’d been wearing a backback. The girl who worked behind the reception (probably 23 and quite attractive, I’m 36) walked past and said “Hey, you look really good.”
Absolutely made my day and I even excitedly told my girlfriend when I got home. It was possibly the only unprompted compliment from a stranger I’ve ever received.
You’re joking right? I’m in the UK and every bugger going has a Merc or a BMW.
OOTL… What revelation?
It did!
My username on here wasn’t descriptive enough for Bing so I went with an old one I used back in my teens - DarthGrapefruit
Honestly I think it was keeping the “styling” prompts the same (volumetric lighting, artstation, concept art, fantasy, intricate) while varying other themes. Sometimes it strayed a little when I removed things so I added them back in. Sometimes I removed them to get a particular look. It’s all just experimentation.
Thanks! I’m really glad people are enjoying them!
Sure thing! I’m no expert but have just stumbled across a few useful bits over time.
This was the hookah smoking cat-person -
Prompt: cinematic portrait of a rugged old khaajit cat-person sorcerer D&D sitting in a medieval style hookah lounge in an outdoor marketplace. intricate, volumetric lighting, exterior scene, beautiful building, digital painting, highly detailed, artstation, sharp focus, illustration, concept art, busy, designer clothes, well dressed, wearing robes and gold jewellery, gangster, fantasy, grunge, sea of thieves style, colourful, exaggerated style, 80s Saturday morning cartoon, patterned tiles, Arabic, exotic, hot, marketplace, spices, fruit, oasis, palm leaves
Thanks, I was aiming for consistency more than anything. I wanted them to feel like they all existed in the same fantasy world (with some VERY slight steam punk influence).
No plans to use them for anything but it DOES make me want to start a D&D campaign.
Showed this to a German friend who had me er seen it last time he stayed with me in the UK. It was such a staple to me and my friends I was shocked he hasn’t seen it!
