Ah, veterans on patrol, they have been all over social media and the local news since showing up in NC. Complete bunch of lunatics.

I feel that almost certainly that is where Musk got the idea from, it worked for them, etc!
Not to be a downer but what is Ukraine’s casualties at? I’m sure this rate of loss of Russian young men is going to kneecap population levels there but I can only imagine how screwed Ukraine’s will be as well.
I’ve heard this before but if Harris and the Dems are literally controlling the weather, why wouldn’t you vote for them?!
I’ve heard a saying, two things you should never do on the Internet are argue or explain. It takes up a lot of mental energy and time to do it for no reward.
That’s a diet that’s avoiding nightshades not a vegan diet. Some people think nightshades can trigger inflammation or autoimmune diseases but there really isn’t any evidence about it. Some people with irritable bowel disease fine nightshades trigger flare ups but that’s about all I’ve heard of.
The biggest takeaway for me is that all the good sounds bites are going to be Vance sticking his foot in his mouth. Vance had a bunch of safe and boring answers so nothing for Trump’s base, who already dislike Vance. Walz was probably nervous but he definitely missed several chances to call things out.
Nah, it was just a show in Germany, even at Nuremberg only like 10 Nazi were executed. Most Nazis were just absorbed back into their society but the Germans just passed specific laws to prevent the display of Nazi flags. That is really the biggest difference. The Germans even let former Nazis back into the government.
Seems like the cops should now be worried about civilian phones exploding and now might consider shooting anyone that tries to hand them a phone /s
“She was also ordered to forfeit more than $11bn (£8.2bn) to the court.”
That sounds like profit to me. It was the cooperation with the court that really did it.
This is 100% my question. I am assuming to polling was specifically done in an urban environment where there is some public transportation. It makes sense that you’d still have a lot of folks that would still want a car. If this was a more rural poll or would have to be like 99% car.
So one of the cops shot the other cop in the torso? Talk about a well trained police force. It’s like something out of Naked Gun. And clearly the cops being there clearly made the situation much worse and injured more people. These stooges should never carry a gun again.
I’m sure NYC will be on the hook for a few lawsuits out of this one situation alone that will at least get into the low millions! Great job NYPD for a subway fare!
It’s really insane if you listen to Reagan talking about immigrants being the strength of the nation and keeping the USA young and growing. And how if we ever stop with immigration or would ruin the country.
They were searching backpacks and lockers in my high school back in the 90’s, student privacy has been dead for a long time. And at the same time they let students keep rifles in their cars on school grounds during hunting season so those students could hunt before school. There’s no real logic at work, just school boards reacting.
Coming soon is the defense that is all Russia is doing in Ukraine.
The poor Russians just weren’t equipped to deal with the consequences of a war they started, just like poor Germany. /s
But also you’d probably react differently if the police showed up to your house because your kid made threats about shooting people. Like you wouldn’t then go buy them a gun for Christmas, regardless of how well you stored it.
Abuse doesn’t really jump out to me, more like denial.
And sadly it’s been this way for decades. Rachel Corrie was run over by a bulldozer in 2003 and nothing changed then, and it won’t change anything now.
I didn’t thinking that idea was still in dispute. There have been multiple studies in this area. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3543069/
It’s because the news media industry as a whole has stuck with Twitter as their primary social media site. It’s kinda hilarious how much they seem to like it and how much time they spend there.
I went to a similar looking middle school, but each grade was in one giant room probably the size of a gym. No class had an actual wall unless it was on the edge. Probably 10-11 classes in each big room for the grade. The only dividers between classes were like rolling bulletin boards and maybe a metal cabinet or two. I couldn’t imagine having to teach in those conditions because it always was pretty noisy.
I also remember the school’s gym had a full locker room with showers but students weren’t allowed to use the showers and none of the bathrooms in the school had stall doors. And the stalls were those short ones were your head was higher than the top of the wall. It was super weird.
