Sounds great! I’ll have a look once the user infrastructure is in place.

This article is far too hypey. One dude has started this initiative and needs people to work on his concept to get it off the ground. I’m not opposed to a red-hat free immutable system, but this one is so far from maturity this article is selling a first drawing like an almost finished product. Remind me in two years how this went.
This is far too linear, where are my choices? There must be a fork of this body that is full of switches and got an included amplifier.
“Excuse me sir, could you tell me what time it is?” 🧒->👴
You buy the partner flatpack from ikea and compile the nervous system. Because you added all modules for the complete experience, they open their eyes and flee from your house.
Missed opportunity to make trashcan joke about macos.
My advice is: make your data eternal, not your distro. Your kde config and customization should work across distros (but don’t dualboot with 2 distros messing in the same /home). Don’t know about you, but I like the separated work/play dynamic I have with linux/windows so I’m waiting for bazzite to become dual bootable with linux to be my playstation. If you put your game library on it’s own partition/disk you can mount it from dualboot distros.
Every distribution is always the most stabellest, maintained piece of software on their website but fuckups happen, teams change, users get blamed for exotic circumstances tarnishing their reputation. Have a backup and use whatever feels right currently.
Pop_os is also ubuntu based btw, hate the name but maybe system76 is able to keep you safe from the snappification while you use what you are accustumed to?
No, it’s using the style of the rectangular blocks below where the black shading looks sensible and applies it to rock surface where it looks like marbling in the mountain instead of ridges or shades. And it gets worse in the back, where the mountainbase has a fingerprint pattern thats completely different.
I find the black, thick webbing on the rocks really weird, yes.
Did you know that if you took every elephant on earth and stacked them up to the moon, they would all pretty much die?
This is a really bad drawing on second sight/first zoom. This model clearly wasn’t trained on rock formations in this drawing style. Or hands.
Please don’t overpay for a 6700xt, get a 7800xt if you want to spend 450
Why would you want that?
I think it will at least find a niche where it outperformes humans, like generating lobby/elevator music or ‘generic greek background ambiance music’ for a restaurant or something. Also the easy parts of the music market, same chords and beats with meaningless text sung on autotune are in its reach. It exists, people will make or save money with it, I don’t think it is going away.
I’m disappointed in the abilities of current AI and even more disappointed that pile of trash is still beating humans because they decided to optimize music so much towards mainstream average likings that it can indeed be generated. Don’t you think the music industry deserves this?
AI can only make mediocre music, the average song with average text, it couldn’t invent the next bohemian rhapsody, whatever you ask it to do will be met with a statistical mean of it’s training data. Thus average depthless music. We only need a license that pays the electricity bill instead of making too much money. I hope it makes artists get creative again to compete. Anything above average music would do.
Went from gentoo to manjaro, can confirm. My hut was awesome but the shower took hours to compile.
I still don’t get the problem. Are you complaining you have to chroot into your system and finish the update because your power got interrupted? Is a 5 min detour into a live system making you unconfortable? This is how you would fix it in any distro except the image based ones and the arch wiki will guide you excellently how to do it. Good luck!
This high quality dad joke does not belong in a shitpost community.
