correct horse battery staple?
My house does a lot of Negroni variations. I will often swap the Campari for Ramazzotti or Cappelletti to dial down the bitterness and add some herbal notes. Also works great as a Boulevardier or with mezcal.
Thanks! I’ll check these out.
What are the other greatest post-Bach fugues? Including the modern era; I love fugues as a form but don’t have a theory or composition background
I didn’t know that so much of Barcelona’s water was desalinated. Valencia’s rice production especially, but all of l’Horta will suffer with this.
Oh I could go for a 5 gallon keg of seltzer that stays carbonated… how difficult is this to set up?
JDownloader works on yt I believe, and it also parses HLS. you can set it to auto import from the clipboard as well, so just copy a url and it adds it to the queue
Then they need to make energy credits and rebates available to more than just the lowest-income residents. Right now in California many homeowners are ineligible for these programs due to the income that enables them to own in the first place.
I have a split ergo (Ergodox) and an ortho (Preonic). The Ergodox is my normal keyboard and has modifiers and a number row. I use the ortho for cad/3d work when my right hand stays on a mouse so I can type commands and inputs one handed. I still don’t have muscle memory fully down to use layers for symbols and numbers but could get there.
What luminosity sensors are you using? I’m interested in automatic daylight harvesting but need a good sensor to provide the sunlight input.
I dislike coins too, but mostly because a dollar is the smallest useful denomination and anything below is rounding. In a 1900 era world where you could buy something material for a nickel or dime, it was worthwhile to use those coins.
The toaster that needs to exist is a Sunbeam Radiant Control with bagel-width slice capacity. It’s a simple mechanism from decades ago with only a darkness control, and its only caveat is it can’t fit a thicker slice.
ICYMI (in case you missed it) and IYKYK (if you know, you know) which frequently get crossed in my head
Adorama also, reliable ratings system and reasonable prices for user-grade gear.
Great narrative and I wish some of those regional varieties were more available outside China.
This battle is missing some context and nuance. In the era where the original studies were conducted, kitchen ventilation was either “open a window” or a wheezy vent fan mounted in the wall or ceiling somewhere near the range. We have better options now— range hoods directly over the appliance with more powerful extractors. Perhaps rather than banning gas stoves, we should regulate adequate ventilation when they are installed, and ban ineffective recirculating hoods instead.
I have a Sunbeam Radiant Control toaster from the 1960s. It’s an elegant, automatic design with only one control for the amount of toast. If it had slots wide enough for bagels it would be perfect.
Even during the ‘open’ Obama years, tourism for Americans was severely limited by the lack of banking interchange between US banks and Cuban ATMs and credit card networks. You have to bring cash and use a currency exchange, and if you run out you have no way of getting more money from your American bank. Other countries’ networks don’t have this issue, but it would need to be fixed for Americans to visit and spend money.
I’m glad the internal currencies of CUC vs CUP have been resolved, though a massive influx of tourist dollars would strain the existing economic systems of Cubans being paid for jobs other than tourism.
