I’ve used both syncthing and recently resilio. My Syno NAS has their own app Synology drive. All three have worked great for me.

Syno ds920+ w/2 16’s & 2 6’s. Use: home docs, pics, and a Plex server.
QNAP ts233 with 2 6tb for “off-site” backup sitting on my desk at work connected to the guest wifi backing up the home docs and pics from the syno.
Tell that to my 92 YO aunt in Austin, she’ll give you an ear full.
I remember following this case closely when it broke a dozen years ago. Crazy scary.

Dammit it makes me want to buy a variable voltage DC power supply!
She got some meat hooks on her.
Looks like a scary movie poster
The article lost me at fees. I saw a friend from Ireland last summer. They looked at us apps like cash app & zelle like that’s cool - but the app we use doesn’t charge instant fees and is not traceable.
On the other hand, this could be the death of physical currency in the us?
If you look at a topography map of Lincoln county MN you can see about a 1000ft variation in that general area. Maybe he fell into a ravine, hence the “oh shit”?
follow up - i never considered offsite backups for my data. i have a ds920+ that’s got some big drives in it and thats all i need. but after reading this post i considered backup. what i went with was a qnap ts233, a wifi adapter, and 2 6t’s that i had replaced with bigger ones on my syno. My syno is my daily driver and the new qnap sits on my work desk at the office, syncs with the syno, and backs up my photos and docs. Happy with this back up method. Thanks for the great post.
Sounds like Bryce was suffering from some severe depression, tried driving off the cliff to drown in the lake, didn’t realize the gap & road beneath, landed on there road, busted out the back window to escape, and drowned himself in the lake or offed himself in a nearby remote area. Given the proximity of the truck stop he could have hitched a ride and took his life elsewhere.

Syno 920+ for me
I’ve never considered off-site storage. You got me thinking
Funny. 1 week after I replied - I just now got my rejection email
Wait, this happened like 4-6 months ago. Zlib is still alive and well, they just send out individualized links per user id when you search something.
