The answer you seek is in my example: in the real world it’s not binary, it’s always a scale
btw I don’t understand why you’ve used so little formatting

All you can do is have a tantrum online
Yeah you really seem very composed on this issue
Do you think Hezbollah distributed these to send out the results of the monthly charity raffle?
The news today is full of articles describing how Hezbollah leadership told their people to ditch their cellphones because they could be tracked and eavesdropped. One must really turn their brain off to believe it’s a complete coincidence 3k Hezbollah members were all carrying the same model of pager and it has nothing at all to do with Hezbollah whatsoever lol
That’s a very childish way to look at it.
Imagine if Hezbollah managed to send a missile right up Bibi’s bedroom window and killed both him and, unbeknownst to them, some child that was with him. Would you then conclude that it was an ‘indiscriminate’ attack? Would you not make a difference between that and say a carpet bombing where they just try to level the city block he’s in?
Please use more caps and bold formatting in your posts
I’ll drop the ‘read books’ thing, that doesn’t seem to go anywhere
That’s not at all proven
If you have any information on people getting blown up by pagers they bought online, please share. I just read (sorry) in an article that the Mossad had been running the factory where Hezbollah ordered theirs for at least two years, apparently shipping out loads of ‘normal’ versions to keep the cover going strong.
and the 2800 injured seems pretty high to all be Hezbollah huh?
Why would that seem high to you?
Although they did kill that girl (and others) on accident, the attack as a whole seems to have been far more surgical that what we usually see in this conflict (and dare I say, certainly more surgical than most attacks from Hezbollah)
You seem very, very focused on this ‘read a book’ thing. Feel free to elaborate how you think that relates
OT: they were pagers meant for military use. It seems that the devices that exploded were exclusively in the possession of people working for Hezbollah. Implying that the Mossad put bombs in devices that innocent people could buy on eBay or Amazon is a complete fabrication or, at best, completely delusional
Do you think Hezbollah gave her a pager? What was her father’s position within Hezbollah? Maybe he’s the one that fired some rockets that killed someone else’s kids recently
People like me? Seems like you’re the one who’s craving for a genocide. ‘For peace’
Your opinion seems quite irrelevant for those of us who want peace. It seems you want to put a genocide on anyone you think ‘deserves it’. People like you will make sure this conflict can only get worse
What do you think of all the other countries that committed and commit what you call genocide? Should they all be attacked? Should the people of the world put perpetual genocides on eachother until one remains?
History is just a tad bit more complicated than you seem to be aware of, but do you really think Hezbollah (and Hamas) reigniting the conflict made the world better?
Which other conflicts would you like to see reignited?
Do you think the killing is ever going to end if Hezbollah can’t stop unless Israel is dissolved? Don’t you think the world would be better if they stopped attacking eachother?
Before they were attacked by Hamas in the south and subsequently Hezbollah in the north? Please elaborate. You can stay in all caps if you want
These were one-way pagers that, given the scale, were probably used to disperse global messages to footsoldiers or the level right above. Like: “come if for a briefing to the usual spot”. That’s information that Israel can already intercept
Which of my statements is contradicted by this?
And do you think Hezbollah restarting the hostilities after almost two decades of de facto ceasefire was helpful for the civilians? Which civilians have gained anything from it? The dead?
Ok, so in your mind, the year is 1982. Israel just invaded Southern Lebanon and is fighting the PLO. Nothing like Israel withdrawing, the entire Lebanese civil war, the '90s, the 2006 war, the events of 2023 has happened. 1982 Hezbollah received some missiles from the future and fired them at some Israelis that haven’t been born yet.
It is forever 1982, and the killing will never end
These weren’t bought ‘over the counter’, these were bought en masse from the producer and specifically meant for military use
Just to be clear on definitions here: could you give me an example of something that you personally believe can be respresented on a scale (as opposed to binary)?
