Nice of them to not disclose the settle amount. Probably something along the lines of 20k… I wish I could settle billion dollar lawsuits with a few thousand dollars.
I don’t understand. DoorDash is stating that they are raising the pay to 30 an hour. I read two or three articles stating that delivery services are only required to pay the NYC minimum of 18. What am I missing?
I watched a video of two pit bulls mauling a thief who jumped a guys fence a while back. They were wagging their tails so hard you’d think they were about to take flight. A strange mix of maximum cute happiness and absolute terror.
Public Transit Enjoyer -love the smell of urine at the stops and elevators -enjoy filthy music from a speaker in a fellow rider’s back pocket that is looking for confrontation -take in bit of cigarette smoke from someone who could care less and lights up in the cart.
I’ve had many good public transit experiences, when any of those happen it just sucks
That’s what they said about a compact disc
You must always remember facelikeapotato-San. Never forget.
You probably leave no tip when you eat out, right? I say that because this phrase is the one most associated with being put on the tip line on a check. Anyway, I’m not trying to attack you. It is just frustrating to hear people think some jobs are less important than others in terms of a livelihood. In my opinion it is more appropriate to point out that replacing that job with a robot allows the person replaced to do something different within their field.
That was just a rude comment to make.
All this is missing is a bold “sponsored” line
Just about to comment the same! I have no idea what the equal pay bill does, and a little insight on that would be super helpful.
I don’t think you’re going to run into much of that, so my advice is to not think that you’re going to be scared, but rather excited. You’re going to learn a lot of great skills, meet a lot of interesting people, and start a whole new phase of life. The people I know in the military benefit much more from lifting their peers up and working well as a team, than they do from putting one another down.
Stress is the ultimate killer, and I agree with the statement that people who are happy and able to be a little careless will live long lives
I leave it on and really like having it on. It’s nice to share with someone that I’ve read their message, and it also does not warrant a need to reply to anything.
It also eliminates the, “oh no just saw this” bs that I’ve noticed at times. If I see a message is read that was maybe time sensitive and do not get a reply, it’s fine and I can plan around that person.
Expected to see, “after she tells you her parents aren’t home”. Proud of everyone :)
Tricky part here is that an easy way of building credit is by use of a credit card. If you can’t buy a house in cash, then obtaining a good mortgage becomes difficult. I’d recommend the happy medium being one of those preloaded credit cards where you pay $1000 up front or what ever and just use that for day to days… being out of debt like you are, though, is one of the most liberating things one can ask for
Drew Lynch for the curious. Just watched the bit and have to say he is pretty dang good
I looked up about the give buildings like this have and it isn’t much. 1-3 feet at the very top. I doubt it’s perceptible but I don’t doubt your brain tricks you into seeing it seem as though it is swaying
Birds will sometimes get fish eggs stuck to their feet, and when they try to fish isolated ponds the eggs will break free and populate the water
