Oh you sweet summer child. You get the opportunity of seeing Twin Peaks for the first time. How I envy you.
It’s great, IMHO. It really nails that feeling of impending doom. I love how the mystery unfolds and all the little breadcrumbs left for you to pick up on.
The acting is great. I actually think this is one of Johnny Depp’s last great roles before he got too big. He’s weird and quirky in a way that works for me.
Also the soundtrack is great. I just picked it up on vinyl because I like it so much.
Chevron seven, locked.
This sucks. There is one game in particular I keep the Wii U around for. We call it Fronks but I think the real name is Islands or something on one of the Warioware games. It’s a stupid game that easy to learn and always a hit at parties.
It’s one of the few games that actually uses the tablet in a neat way. And because of that it probably will die with the Wii U.
What happened to them? They were sued? I miss x-fire too.
Have an SD card slot too and that will be really cool.
Yeah, I tried it and I wanted more out of it but sadly, it didn’t click for me. I’ll try it again on deck maybe.
Just an FYI: This article is 2 years old. Not saying anything has changed or not.
I really like all the Max Payne games. I’m hoping Remedy’s recent involvement with Epic Games doesn’t keep more of their games locked to the Epic storefront. I still haven’t played Alan Wake 2 because it’s locked on Epic. This press release just says “PC” instead of the storefronts it will be available on, which worries me a bit.
From some of the things I read it was behind a paid patreon. This likely brought the hammer down extra fast.
Having lived in Germany for over 5 years I would say I for sure don’t miss right on red. It always confused me that it was a thing most places but then some intersections had a sign you better have seen to know it’s not okay to do it at that particular intersection.
Right on red seemed to be introduced to help save gas during a crisis. Again, living in Europe most modern cars have idle shut offs. So when you come to a complete stop at say an intersection while idling at a red light your engine automatically shuts off until you take your foot off the break, thus saving fuel.
Safer for everyone involved, less confusing, more consistent and it still meets the requirement of the original intention of right on red.
"Sure, Zaslav deserves to be staked out over and anthill and slathered in high-fructose corn syrup. But save the next anthill for the Sony exec who shipped a product that would let Zaslav come into your home and rob you. That piece of shit knew what they were doing and they did it anyway. Fuck them. Sideways. With a brick. "
While I think the overall message is great, I personally think the author did themselves a disservice by dissolving into seemingly rambling threats at the end.
It’s like having a valid argument, but devolving to name calling when you should have just walked away.
Thank you!
