Milton knocks out power to millions and spawns tornadoes across Florida. At least 5 dead

The storm spared Tampa, but flooded streets and homes throughout western Florida. Power outages were widespread, and deaths have been reported from severe weather.

Some reports say 9 dead. I saw somewhere that 72 was the max number of tornadoes within a short time period. Anyone know if these tornadoes are setting a record?
