The blood of ukrainian people is on the hands of republicans.

And from this day forward they will be openly manipulating the Russians via the choices and decisions they make in the US.

From a world view, the view of the EU citizens, if we stop supply to Ukraine that is entirely the US, not just the Republicans. It is a US failure.

You do realize that Republicans control one house of congress and the Democrats barely control the senate, right? The U.S. government can’t even agree enough to keep itself funded because the only Republican platform is “do the opposite of what they want.” That includes Ukraine funding. This is not a U.S. failure, it is an intentional sabotage by Republicans.

They’re saying that from the perspective of non-US countries, this is a failing on our country’s part. Not that that is factually the case. Obviously for those of us on the inside, it’s clear that one party is holding the country hostage, but on the outside that’s not always clear – and it doesn’t necessarily even matter because at the end of the day, the US is failing them.

The reason one party is holding the country hostage is because the United States’s political system has massive problems that are readily apparent to anyone who pays even the slightest attention to US politics, but the majority of Americans have done absolutely nothing about it. Political dysfunction has been getting measurably worse for decades and only a fraction of Americans do anything of substance. Hell, a significant portion of the population actually votes in SUPPORT of antics like this. The Republicans have been pulling stunts like this for decades now.

So yes, in an indirect way, this is also on United States citizens. The Republicans are the ones directly causing the issue, but the population can be seen as complicit as it does so little to prevent them from acting as such or by actually supporting this behavior.

You just had a stupid idea, so you must be a completely stupid person with no redeeming qualities. That’s how your philosophy works, get better ones. Think harder, hate less.

Edit: and the next time you speak for the whole world, don’t.

The Russians received a big morale boost, courtesy of the GOP.

But when the parent comment here said the same thing you decided to pivot that point to blame to all American people. It doesn’t take an intellectual to play spot the asshole.

I responded to a specific comment genius. Pointing out that the world won’t blame Republicans but everybody in the US. You disagree with that? Fine. You’ve probably not left the country. But, don’t try try to argue wfor the sake of arguing

Got it. So you spoke carelessly in this comment thread, people told you that was insulting and wrong. Instead of elaborating on your point to be better understood like you did rather rudely just now, you dug your heels in. You doubled down even, speaking for the whole world, again. People pointed valid criticism at you and this is how you’ve handled it. It’s embarrassing to be wrong unless you hide behind your ego and choose to stay wrong.

I’m not arguing with you, I’m mocking you.

The US has provided as much military aid as all other countries combined… read my comments and you’ll see I want more aid sent to them, but to act like this is both on our hands when Europe and other allies around the world and in NATO aren’t picking up the slack is insane and stupid. US funding allowed Ukraine to get this far, and I want to see them win back their land and negotiate peace again for the region, but this is NOT a USA issue of supplying by a long shot.

As with all aid, it is more fair to look at it as a percentage of GDP. In that way, the US has not given a hell of a ot more than other countries. But, the point is really a perception and reality issue. Without US aid Ukraine will surely fall and the US will be blamed by those countries Putin invades next. All of the US, not just Republicans.

Genocide Joe shouldn’t have bundled the resistance money with the genocide money.

Good job on the Republicans on blocking the weapons for israel. Sad that Ukraine has to be a victim of it
