Yes, I’m very sorry to have misspoke…they only own the livestock farms, distribution centers, the land the restaurants are on, and they have exclusive partnerships with the potato growers and ranchers. They DO outsource the pickles from another supplier (who only supply McDonalds), onions (at least the whole ones, couldn’t confirm a source for the dehydrated), and other produce like tomatoes.
Especially in cases like McDonalds. They’ve owned their entire supply chain since at least the late 90s.
Missed opportunity with the fuel efficiency OP…so close to 42.0
Dead eyes…like a doll’s eyes.
You have to bear them against the right people.
Your insurance company isn’t just fucking you with premiums, they also expect the guys that come and fix things up after a disaster to lose money doing it, 0 overhead, 0 profit
I’m glad the storm spread out a little before making ground fall. I don’t have the requisite knowledge to know whether he’s making a credible claim about the mathematical limits of storm intensity, but if it is accurate, the fact that we can go from “tropical depression” to “literally the strongest storm the planet can sustain” in 24 hours is fucking wild.
Which is ironic…any company that would brag about employees working at their own wedding screams “burnt out employees and insider threats” to me.
Isn’t route design/planning part of a public transportation system? And even if it weren’t, it’s still a real and valid issue that would need to be addressed. Even if the plan is just to force everyone into high-density housing against their will, you still have the last mile problem, just like cable and internet companies. Either the bus stops at every building (and is therefore too slow to be useful) or some people have to walk farther than others, which is fine for most of us, but disabled/elderly/injured people shouldn’t be further disadvantaged as part of our transportation strategy.
Hey, look, I found the thing the US is still number 1 at!
Great…now they’re gonna crusade against the liberal zoos. There’ll be super successful “patriot zoos” which are really just paid tours of factory farms where the treatment of the animals will be landed as traditional, conservative, even biblical. People will eat it up.
This is the issue that prevented me from joining when I first heard about them.
I think they use that to help track whether you’re watching or not (I don’t recall ever seeing the “are you still watching?” prompt when skipping intros… but my sample size is 1)
I find it helpful sometimes to write down the negative shit then wad it up and throw it away or burn the paper.
I imagine the implementation would cost them more than the fine…
Not even a tithe.
Just like everyone else.
